A guide to ski lift domination

WE SELECT THE HIGHLY FREQUENTED LIFTS

We locate the high-impact, high-traffic areas that generate high passenger volumes delivering the best exposure. Connecting the major areas of the resort, ski lifts are strategically located to guarantee repeated advertising contacts throughout the season. The Alpdest network includes more than 300 high frequency lifts giving access to up to 1 Million passages per lift, that is 300 million per winter season.
A CONJUNCTION OF SEVERAL MEDIA

Whether you choose the standard formats or get creative with customisation, owning a lift is all about making the best out of it.
The efficiency of your campaign is elevated when it is combined with several media in the same area as it multiplies the repetition of your message per passage.
OUR MEDIA ARE BASED ON CONSUMMER JOURNEY
Four key stages in the skier journey around a lift have determined several types of media to use to target your audience and to own the communication in the area:
1. WAITING FOR THE LIFT Barrier / Netting / Info boards / Billboards
As skiers often queue to a lift, "Info boards" and "Billboards" secure initial exposure with little distraction. With skiers visiting lift multiple times the same lift, the same day or during the week, Info boards, nettings or billboards offer high quality impressions.

2. LOADING THE LIFT Entry gates / Chairlift stickering / Billboards
No matter which lift is taken to access the ski area, all skiers must pass through the lift entry gates, making them high footfall and high dwell time areas. As their ski pass needs to be scanned directly in front of your advertising to open the gate, it is impossible not to see your campaign. (Average of 4-8 gates per lift).

3. RIDING THE LIFT Lift bars / Lift Posters
Lift posters and lift bars are packaged as a set of multiple billboards per lift that get up close and personal with commuting skiers. Whether your creative tells a story through series or to repeats your message, owning a lift through lift pylon posters and lift bars provides long brand exposure in a non-cluttered environment (between 5 to 10 minutes average per passage).
Since skiers are at eye level with your advertising, it's a great media to capture their attention, as well as start interacting with them through their smartphones whilst they wait to unload.

4. UNLOADING THE LIFT Billboards
Since there is only one way to unload the lift, arrival billboards offer constant and repetitive passages. Your advertising has a premium location and is sure to catch the attention of all skiers using the lift.
Arrival billboards mark the entrance of the ski slopes and are impossible to miss before skiers start enjoying their next slope. ALPDEST owns around 400 Large and X-Large billboards across the European alps, CEE and Spain/Andorra. Up to 250m2 pieces on the best frequented locations.
